Paul "Buddy" Charette

2021 Modified Driver

Paul Charette was born and raised in Woodstock, CT.  From the time that he could reach the pedals he just wanted to drive!

His racing career started in Go Kart racing, where he gained the knowledge and contacts to bridge the gap and step into the circle track scene.   

He spent many years working on a Whelen Tour Modified teams for drivers such as Todd Szegedy, The Pasteryak's, and Chuck Hossfeld. 

When the time was right he stepped into a Sunoco Modified race car of his own, where he ran against some of the sports most talented drivers at Thompson International Speedway. He also spent sometime in the Act Late Model series, running primarily at Thompson International Speedway but making guest appearances at tracks like Loudon International Speedway. 

2020 brought the creation of the Bumper 2 Bumper team, combining some amazing sponsors, a strong crew and Buddy to bring him back to the modified world.  2021 will be filled with SK lite racing and Modified tour racing.  Keep up with the excitement and say hi when you see us at the track!
